That's life
Okay so I've started going out on appointments, and I am beat! My last appointment was at 9:15pm - Was supposed to be at 9.00pm. When my supervisor said don't be late for an appointment, he meant it - It snowballs. I was held back by a Chinese speaking customer. It was horrifying when he asked if I could converse in mandarin. I tried my best, and managed to communicate incorporating some English here and there - He understood.
Received my first warning from the office today - Was supposed to report back, informing them my movement. I know, sounds like the army right? There was some communication error, but no harm done.
Wish I could get more customer to utilize our services - Some people are just so apprehensive. I guess it's part of the job, some people are terrified that you try to sell them something.
On a side note, check out http://www.wholivesnearyou.com/ - It allows you to see who lives around your neighbourhood. Special mention of a friend Lionel - Interesting chap. It's good to know more people in your neighbourhood. I would reminiscent about my younger years, playing at the playground with all those neighbours. I knew a good bulk of kids in my neighbourhood. As you grow older, these things just fade away like a dream that never happened - It's difficult to relive those days now.
Realisation: Damm, my first appointment tomorrow is a Chinese speaking customer!
