Rock band, Pizza and Mudpie.. Mmm..
Was at the Hoobastank concert yesterday at Siloso beach - Sentosa. Everything was cool, except for the glaring fact that we were around 100 metres away from the band. Not that there were so many people there, but because of a segregation between the audience - The VIP and those that were not so important. There was about 50 metres of empty space between us. I'm not totally sure for the reason for this setup. In fact I'm giving the organiser the benefit of the doubt. Personally I'm thinking it was because of paying and non-paying customers - Our tickets were free.
Only found out about the concert on the day of the event, my aunt called me to ask if I wanted them. Wasn't sure what band it was at first, she called me telling me she had 4 tickets. I decided to go get them anyway. To my surprise they were the Hoobastank tickets. So I called Ivy, Alex and Khema and we headed down to Sentosa to watch the concert. We were late though, but didn't miss any of the band playing - It was some other band playing first. Hanged around a bit before heading down to Trapizza, some pizza place along the beach, for dinner - It was costly. We completed our meal by heading down to Coffee Club at Holland Village for my favourite Mudpie.
What can I say, it was a pleasant day - Out with my favourite people. Damm, the weekend is short - Too short.
