How far will desperation drive you?

I'm no movie critic, just happened to catch both movies this weekend. Scriptwriters these days are demented, sick, and twisted. The plot, however, is brilliant. Both films tell a story with a lesson to be learnt, and the moral judgment of the antagonist is ambiguous - I have yet to decide for myself if they deserve the ending that they got. I love this type of film - Keeps me in thought; otherwise I'll get senile.
