*sniff* *cough* ;-~~(
I've been ill for the past week - Was down with a flu which developed to a cough in the later part. It's so embarrassing to have to meet clients, while making sure you don't look too "unglam" attending to your running nose.
Not willing to succumb to the temptation of taking an MC, I went to "Guardian" to purchase some Chlorpheniramine on Monday. You know those miracle yellow tablets that the medical officers in the SAF would give you? Yeah.. that one. I love those tablets - Just 1 tablet and I'll drift off to slumber.
I reported sick on Friday - Couldn't take it anymore. Got even more sick with a bad cough. The doctor gave me a bunch of medication, which included Salbutamol - Which was supposed to clear the airways. So I took the medication and I felt bad.. really bad. The stomach seemed to reject the medicine. I continued to take the medication, and for 3 days I was running to the bathroom. I checked out the side effects of the medication on the internet - apparently it causes diarrhea. I didn't know it clears those airways also.
