Someone's Watching
Ever heard one of those pre-recorded messages on the train warning people not to smoke, eat, or drink? I have, for the first time today. It was brought to my attention when the message was broadcasted in the LRT and the stations.
Apparently some school kids were sipping away from their beverages when it happened. Which made me ponder if anyone had been fined for consuming their food and drinks on the train? Haven't actually seen anyone getting fined. And what about drinking from one of your own bottled water? Is there a penalty to that? If there isn't, where do you draw the line if it's a bottled flavoured drink? I mean, if I could have water in the bottle and it doesn't matter, I could substitute it for lemon tea and it won't matter right? Perhaps they are really trying to say, "No drinking unless it's from your own bottle". The rationale baffles me.

I was searching the web for a no eating and drinking sign when I came upon a site of funny signs. There were many, but this was the first one I chanced upon. Keep your eyes open for something funny; you might even spot that nasty CCTV at the corner spying on you.
