I've lost $2.00 but it's a price worth paying for an exciting race. Makybe Diva was crowned for the third consecutive year for winning the Melbourne Cup. Completing 3200m in 3min 20seconds, I've never felt so exhilarated from watching a race. It is the atmosphere from the crowd; to hear people cheering so passionately for their horse. Perhaps it is because of the money. Perhaps, like Phar Lap, they've found a hero in the great mare Diva. It's quite an experience and I could feel it from the goggle box in the living room. I should try to go to the racecourse next year.
